Visited the Japanese School of Jeddah

On November 13, I visited the Japanese School of Jeddah to introduce Japanese culture with mizuhiki.

The Japanese school is celebrating its 50th anniversary. When I passed through the school gate, I felt like I was in a Japanese elementary school, and the scenery of my elementary school days was right there, so I felt the depth of its history.

This time, 22 people, included 4 students and 6 teachers participated in the mizuhiki workshop.

This time, I introduced the Japanese New Year and the traditional Japanese engagement ceremony .
Some of the students had never seen New Year’s day in Japan before, so they were very interested in the exhibits.
In the latter half of the workshop, the students tied mizuhiki, and together with their parents and teachers, they tried their best and created many wonderful works.
Of all the times I have been abroad on cultural exchanges, this was actually my first visit to a Japanese school.
I was impressed by the warm and enthusiastic teachers and the high cultural level of education at the Jeddah Japanese School.
would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers for their efforts in organizing this workshop, which was attended by more people than I had imagined.

I am honored to have shared a heartwarming time with you. I hope to see everyone who attended again!
